While our youngsters see this world of ours as being an “adult oriented” world it is one of the great misconceptions and being very far from the truth! True, only those in age can drive cars, marry, vote, work and make major decisions — the world really, in every sense revolves around the needs of our children. A young adult when they marry, forms a family and when they have their own children, find out soon enough, that the lives they considered to be their own is no longer first priority; instead, their main efforts are now centered around their children’s needs such as — housing, feeding, clothing, educating and of course, caring for them when sick and organizing their good times when all else is being considered and satisfied. .. .The so called “Adult legislation” involves itself with long range goals for making our country a better place for the young of today and those of the future generations. .. .The family car becomes the station wagon and a “second car” is soon needed for transporting the children to their daily activities. .. . Mom goes out to work because extra money is now needed for running an ever tightening home economy. . . . Soon, a new and bigger home is needed because of the demand for a grown living space. Oh, yes. Our adult world revolves around children and in more respects than the dollars and cents would tell... It spins around in changed attitudes and be aware of it, in changed ambitions! Parents want (always wanted), the BEST for their children! They want to give them a better atmosphere in which to grow and develop in order of getting an opportunity that is better, on the way to a clearer road to success. Isn’t it true, friends, that Mom and Dad tighten up on luxury spending in order to give more to dad’s life insurance, mom goes to work full time to earn money for Johnny’s college education and a long planned trip becomes forfeited because of the daughter’s wedding. . .And the list could go on and on and on! It is a young-oriented adult world! Mom and Dad insuring their lives to benefit their children and no mistake about it, they are attentive to a good idea which will benefit their children directly and this ever present thinking includes insurance on the lives of their children. The question is, how to do the best we can fulfilling this age-old dilemma of caring in a most loving, yet an orderly and intelligent way. . .At our next getting together we will discuss this unique and innermost business of “people business” concerning the young!
