KÖP Vol XX Special Nuniber 1968 No 2- 20 (07662) bas the chance to do, that man actually denies the cause of Jesus even if he vociferously makes his profession and never ceases to carry tie name of God in his mouth« The reply Jesus gives to the problem cf hurrán misery is not a theoretical one. He declares himself to be in solidarity with all the sufferers of the world. Therefore Matthew 25:40 is the Magna Charta cf the large community of those in need, of the fellowship in which Jesus identifies Himself with all those who suffered It is possible that Jesus is not present where people speak cf him end even confess His name and that He is present where He is not spoken of cr is even denied but where His will is done and where justice is sou^it and done, speak It is in this sense"that we may/of the "secularized form" of Christ's ministry» It is cf the secular service for the good of man that Ragaz, one cf the great teachers of our century, says that the 'incognito' Christ is present in that service» "The paradoxon of our time is that it is fron the non-Christian side that the love of Christ is invading the world. Not through the official representatives of Christianity! "25) We may also put it this way: social justice is an integral part cf the righteousness of the Kingdom, Even when it is practised by the world and thus appears in secular forms. The parables of the Good Samaritan and cf the last Judgment unmistakably convey this truth to us. In seeking the ways of serving the good cf nan, the righteousness cf the Kingdom must transform all the accustomed ways cf our thinking* Por serving God and representing Christ, we must have patterns basically different from what we have been accustomed to. We must serve in a much mare humane manner, in the fréedom of God's sons, "We have been accustomed to see Christ in religious forms only. We oust learn to see Him in wcrdly forms* In the measure to the extent cf via ich we train our eyes to this new vision, we shall see Him walking upon the stonatossed waves cf the present world transformation",^) The Church of Christ can only be well related to the present world situtation, she can only understand this situation and recognize the services which her Lord expects of her, if she enters aid stays in this situation in the pompany of Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, Then it will not be under the coercive pressure of the situation, herself becoming an appendage cf the situation, that she will discharge her ministry, but she will understand the situation in the light of Christ, and' it will be in the well-understood situation that she will do good service to the glory cf her Lard*
