He spoke of his general impression that renewal in the congregations arouses interest for the Bible in any case. He said of hisiipressions got in Hungary as follows;- The Bible is available in Hungary and one is grateful to think that sufficient quantities will be published next year. In this matter the authorities have shown wisdom and understanding. But it is not sufficient to have tlie Bible available. Those Bibles must be read. It is one of the principal duties of the Hungarian churches - and in this they arc just in the same position as practically all the churches .in Europe - to call their members to read and search the Holy Scripture and to help them in that search ar.d study. It was a. joy for me to find among those whom I met such a keen interest for the cause of the Bible, I am grateful to think that we sliall benefit in the future in the world-fellowship of the United Bible Societies, of the experience, the eagerness and spiritual concern of the friends of the Bible in Hungary - said Br.
