Reading this ’further attempts’ I thought of four- letter. We should not refuse any brotherly suggestions on basis of ptoper informations and benevolence, hut one cannot even think of a thorough knowledge Of a German Moderator which he,as it looks like, had vindicated for himself in the letter.

This letter is lacking of benevolence because it wants to interfere with the age-old Constitution of our church, and in the mean time it makes statements which can be considered but on blameworthy ctcndpoint according to the first Epistle General of Peter saying: ’as a busybody in other men’s matters*, (in I.Pet.4:15 the Apostle puts 15) interference in other men’s matters in an order of rank extremely compromising. ) You risk to pass a sentence and to qualify the leaders of our church who were elected by the congregations and are consuming their lives in serving the congregations, as men of r.o credits.

You speak of our church as if one would not take care of the decisions for « her sake in the presence of God, and as if one would not pay attention to make the cisarch reman a true church; even more, you specify with full particulars .what leaders have to be put on the proper functions of the church. You might have entrusted these things to the Word and the Holy Ghost for He is obviously able to tell us who is a suitable leader for the church, more clearly and far more better than you.

I confess to have written these lines with a heavy heart. I am lost in astonishment that the Moderator of the German ’Reformierter Bund’ addresses a circular not to the German pastors and elders but to the ’pastors and elders of the Reformed Church in Hungary’. ''.That would you say if a Hungarian prominent churchman addressed such a circular to the pastors and eldei's of the German Church explaining them what church leaders they should elect? Or is this for a German Moderator sooner permissible ?

Having all that said, I think, you would not be surprised that the Presidential Council ’considering the remarks uttered just by the Moderator of the Reformed Federation on the New Haven meeting of the Central Committee according to which he had questioned the legality of the official delegates of our church, it regards a serious injury against the brotherly ties his interferences in the inner matters of our Reformed Church in that way. The Presidential Council explicitly refuse such attenpts just in order to secure the brotherly ties among the churches,’
