—s— in introducing-sensational and "interesting0 innovations. The attitude of the stick-in the muds is no more disobedienoe than the attitude of those who show no restraint in' upsetting the outward order of our church by foisting their arbitrary and individualistic innovations on tho congregations. The main concern of our Church* in these days, is not the opening of new doors but the utilising of those opportunities which are still left to us by God. And there must be discipline in availing ourselves of these opportunities. It may happen that one' escapes a real problem by raising arbitrarily new problems. The sane thing happens when we, instead of holding fast to the old and well-proved methods of church work, obstruct the evangelical renewal of our Church by forcing innovations which are of uncertain origin and have not yet been proved to have a solid scriptural foundation.
