The Ministry of People's Education has no,/ apportioned Bible printing paper for 15*000 further copies which will leave the presses around Easter time. • FEW MIIeSTORE ON THE ROAD OP HOME MISSIONARY ACTIVITY The Presidential Council of the General Oonventus has approved the outlines of a new regulation of missionary work«. The new Hungarian Reformed usage of the work "mission" covers not only foreign missions, out also what Germans call "innere Mission", txius practically all church activity that is envisaged in Jesus' "missionary" command: "C-o ye into all the world..." The Council has appointed a commission, consisting of the chief functionaries of the church and the representatives of the various "missionary" activities, to elaborate the details of the new regulation. This draft will be studied by all Seniors and all branches of "missionary11 work, then it will be submitted, on May 8, to the Session of the General Conventus for discussion and final approval. The Council, at the same time, decided that "after the adoption of the new Regulation by the General Conventus, the Bishops and Chief Curators will send, on Vhitsunday, on the day commemorating the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, thp primo mover and inspircr of all missionary work, a circular to all consistories, This circular will explain that the new Regulation - the to: of which will be enclosed - is not merely an act of church government and organisation but the indication of the fact that our church, in" spite of our unworthiness, has now reached a now milestone of her history by becoming, in her congregations, officials and members, a missionary church. This means that, in thef firsf- place, the pastors und presbyters -will bo the responsible agents of missionary work who will devote themselves, with gratitude, to this task". The now regulations makes ELI "missionary" work an integral part of the church's organization. Church^ mombors actually engaged in "missionary" work .should constitute the consistories, presbyteries, synods and the missionary committee of :He General Conventus. Admin:istratioih and missionary work will no longer overlap. Missionary work: will become, in its entirety, churcn work, and the church will "bo a missionary church. Hungarian Church Press
