After his return Dr. Reök reports his experiences in the MEvangélikus ílet" /Lutheran Üáfe/ of which we give some parts, as follows; ’’The first needful thing was to agree with our Swiss brothers concerning the tasks of the Church. Th£ue are the preaching of the Word, administration of sacraments and charity work, which as institutions of God, independent from time and space, hold good for all Protestant Churches. JLn order to perform this task relations across boundaries and regions of the world must be built and intensified. Just as we are one with our brothers abroad, and have to be one in all eternity in the love and service of the Lord Jesus Christ, we must be fully aware of the fact that our churches are placed in an altogether different world.
