The missionary working communion of evangelists gathered in Bebrecen. Representing the most various tendencies of the church there were about 30 evangelists present, all one-minded in the vision that the church needs regeneration both in congregations and in individual church members. The conference led to perfect oneness» Principles were elaborated which were accepted binding for al?_ evangelists. Bishop Albert Berecsky and Alexander Makkai the leader of the missionary work of tho church were all the time present at the conference. 2. In Budapest, the deans of 32 church districts held a three days conference. All the timely missionary affairs , of the church were discussed. The most important theme of their discussion was, however, that a much closer unity of the Hungarian Reformed Christendom divided presently into four churchdistrict, must be realised. To that end it was found necessary that the workers of the church of similar services may not merely meet in confined territorial districts, but discussions embracing the life of the whole church may be held. Thus, mutual interest and sense of responsibility is sure to increase. It is an essential, part of the actual unity of the church, that congregations may not merely live for themselves, brt have a share in each others burdens. The united organisation of financial obligations were also discussed, first of all the maintainance of the four Theological Seminaries to be shouldered by tho whole church.
