Vörösmarty Charles J., Green Pamela A., Fekete Balázs M: A metrics-based approach mapping precursors of water conflict 119 PAMELA GREEN is a senior research scientist at the City University of New York (CUNY) Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC), specializing in water resources analysis and the linkages between human activities, climate, and the water cycle. Current research includes building indicators of water stress to humans and biodiversity, global assessments of freshwater ecosystem services supporting humans, quantifying water security vulnerabilities from anthropogenic threats, designing scenarios to model trade-offs for water development investments, and developing evidence-based frameworks for evaluating the efficacy of sustainable best-practices of business activities on human and environmental water security. Ms. Green has contributed to numerous interdisciplinary projects joining multiple stakeholders from the academic research, industry and policy sectors to address relevant earth system and water resources challenges.
