További, tervszerű vizsgálata mindenképpen fontos és indokolt, nem csak faunisztikai, hanem természetvédelmi szempontokból is. Tihany, Hungary Abstract: Occurrence data of 88 aquatic beetle taxa are given from 42 localities of Zala River and its tributaries based on the results of two sampling periods (2007 May and July). Platambus maculatus, Anacaena limbata , Orectochilus villosus , Laccobius bipunctatus were the most frequent species. Occurrence of Brychius elevatus, Agabus affinis, A. melanarius, Potamophilus acuminatus , Macronychus quadrituberculatus, Esolus angustatus and Oulimnius tuberculatus are important faunistic results. Deronectes platynotus is new species for the Hungarian fauna. The most interesting and valuable aquatic beetle assemblages were found through the whole section of Zala River.
