Mátrai István: A magyar vízügyi nagylétesítmények Hidrológiai Közlöny 1977. 1. sz. 17 Evidently, these maps indicating water quality parameters provide but general information on the quality situation in the various streams. In the present 5 year plan of pollution control, attention will be shifted from quality standards of national validity to such of regional scope and applying specifically to particular streams, adjusted properly to the conditions particular to the stream and to the individual effluent producers. It is felt desirable to allow for other factors, e.g. variable streamflow rates in specifying the quality standards. At the same time the effectiveness of the economic- and legal regulatory system should also be analysed and adjusted to the variable production conditions.
