S. S. de Finály: New bitter water wells of the Erzsébet saline bath in Budapest

New bitter water wells of the Erzsébet saline bath in Budapest 165 waters is practically the same, both in case of the well analysed by Dr. Emszt and in case of the ones, „Kísérleti kút" and „Uj kút" newly analysed by me. The unchanged chemical composition of the bitter waters approves that the equilibrium of the layers of which the bitter waters take their origin was not disturbed and the use of the wells for several decennia did not cause any observable change in the amount or composition of the bitter water. Finally I publish a table to show the very similar chemical composition of the bitter waters of several wells of the neighbourhood. The published wells are lying (1 to 6) on the same plain and probably take their origin from the same geological layers, as their composition approves. Wells 7 to 9 originate from quite other regions and show somewhat altered chemical data in equivalent %.
