Hidak Csongrád megyében (Szeged, 2003)

Összefoglaló, Zusammenfassung, Summary

FÜGGELÉK In 1981, the first Hungárián prestressed reinforced concrete Tisza-bridge was completed between Csongrád and Szentes. The middle span of the 3-spanned river bridge with box girder was the longest (90 m) in our country when it was built. The flood area bridges were alsó of prefabricated girders. The new highway bridge in Szeged built during the modernisation of main road No. 5 is alsó a significant work. The 161 m long bridge has 8 spans, it is post-tensioned above the railway line, while other spans have prefabricated girders. The county's national highway network has 75 bridges, the least among the counties, however, the sizes and the areas of bridges are significant, mainly due to the Tisza-bridges. There are 113 bridges managed by municipalities. The Downtown Tisza-bridge in Szeged has been managed by the town municipality since 1996, other bridges - principally reinforced concrete structures - are small or médium ones. There are 57 railway bridges, two above the Tisza, one above the Maros, two almost 150 year-old arch bridges. Most of the important bridges during the last decades were designed by Uvaterv and were built by Ganz and Hídépítő Rt. The present book on the bridges of county Csongrád - similarly to the already published 10 volumes of the series - is destinated mainlv J to experts, it provides the sources of information. However, its abundant illustrations inform any interested reader. The main chapters of the book are as follows: geographical and hydrological conditions, development of road network, review of the construction of timber, arch, irón, steel and reinforced concrete bridges, the reconstruction after World War II, presentation of national and local highway, as well as railway bridge stocks, bridges in the art, bridge naSUMMARY mes, memóriái tablets, individual descriptions of bridges, appendices (maps, registrations, designs, photos, etc), chronology, designers, contractors, summary. The authors of the book are engineers: Dr. Imre Gáli, Bence Hajós, János Jójárt, Dr. Mihály Rigó, Dr. Ernő Tóth (alsó the editor of the book). The English summary was translated by Dr. László Gáspár, the Germán one by Dr. Herbert Tráger, the reader of the publisher. In the compilation of the book, designers, contructors, museums, archives, researchers and local historians helped a lot by making available sources and illustrations. Many thanks to them. The book was published for the 44th Bridge Engineering Conference. A szentesi Kurca-híd (Dr. Imre Lajos ecsetrajza) 213
