To celebrate the jubilee, the festival will present classical pieces of Hungarian cinematic art. Main topics: • First steps towards cinematic art (classical Hungarian cinematic art productions made between 1931 and 1944) • The development of Hungarian cinematic art (selections from the works of outstanding Hungarian directors ofthe 1940s: Keleti Márton, Radványi Géza, Szőts István, Bán Frigyes) • Achievements of Hungarian cinematic art (the films of festival-winning filmmakers: Kósa Ferenc, Jancsó Miklós, Szabó István) • The presentation of new films (Jancsó Miklós, Koltai Róbert, Mészáros Márta, Sas Tamás, Szabó István, Tímár Péter directors) • Simultaneous interpreting in English, French and German. • Free-time activities will include cellar visits, wine-tasting, and garden parties with Hungarian music.
