Diese Gegend ist die Heimat des berühmten, jahrelang in Eichenholzfässern gelagerten, feurigen, rubinroten Erlauer Stierblutes und der Königin der Weißweine, der Erlauer Mädchentraube mit Rebblütenbukett. Die Pflege, Erhaltung und Weitereintwicklung der Weinkultur von mehreren Jahrhunderten hat sich die im Juni 1993 nach der Privatisierung neugegründete EGERVIN Weingut AG als Ziel gesetzt.

The world famous Eger wine have been aged for centuries in the cellars of the town of Eger, one of the most beautiful places of Hungary, sorrounded by sunny slopes.

This is the home of the famous Egri Bikavér, a matured, fiery wine of ruby color, aged in oak for years, and this is the place where the queen of white wines, the Egri Leányka with its fragrance of the grape flower comes from.

To preserve and develop this centuries-old wine culture, this is the primary aim of EGERVIN Vineyard Co. Ltd., a company that had been privatised and reorganised in 1993.
