According to tradition, the Valley’s cellar number 1.24. vas made before the Turkish occupation and was also ised for ecclesiastic purposes in the 16th century. In one :orner of the cellar there is a little niche with an altar and :arvings in it. There are two more cellars on Öregsor, vhose walls are decorated with stone reliefs. The oldest :ellar of the town can be found opposite the Chapel in he valley. It was made in the 16th century and is called he Godly Cellar, since it served as a secret church dur- ng the Turkish occupation. Lovers of wine and good food are received by excellent restaurants and evocative wine cellars. Festivals and other cultural programs entertain the guests in the summer months. '5
