Olvasóm, ha ezt az írást átfutottad, végy kezedbe egy Varga könyvet, figyelj jobban a FAOSZ Magyar írók Nemzetközi Szövetsége filozófiájára. Egy biztos: amit tesz azt érted és értünk teszi. Szarvas István Introducink The International Association of FAOSZ Hungarian Writers MY DEAR FELLOW WRITERS! In the whole world there arc a lot of writers as well as several writers’ associations. So you have probably not heard about us, FAOSZ, the International Association of Hungarian Writers. Let me use this opportunity to introduce the structural organization and aims of our association in a couple of sentences. We, the “children” of the change of regime, were registered by the Company Court in 1989. At present we have some 600 members, mostly from Hungary and the neighbouring countries, as well as from other parts of Europe, Canada and America. The number of our regional organizations working in different corners of Europe is 16 at present, and is increasing rapidly. 17
