Awaiting the Press The Press Centre of the World Championships will be housed in the building of the Mátra Forestry and Timber Estate Management. The largest room of the house was transformed into an international telephone centre. The building is about 200 meters from the track, on the right hand of the main road. The entrance is on the left. In the lobby there is place for the information and for the accreditation desk and a shelf for the leaflets with that day’s results. The hostess who looks after accomodation and extra programmes is there and so is the currency exchange desk. The door on the right leads to the office of the Press-Chief and the Press Committe. on the left is the telex-room, and another with typewriters. In the basement there is a small snack bar where you can get your daily refreshments. Press conferences with prize-winners will be held here, and exhibitions of the county’s best goods, with wine, cheese, ham, etc. tastings. The Press Centre is availabde to those holding an accreditation Accreditation cards are as usual, yellow. Opening time of the Press Centre: August 14, noon. Closing time: August 21, noon.
