At the reproduction and enlargement of the latter photo sequence a merely visual "superstructure" appears. The pictorial information changing by the degree of enlargement, however, in ATTALAI's par excellence "photo-like" sequence became the function not of time but distance. If not visible, the action on the photographer can be deduced from it: his purposeful backing away between each shot. To HAJAS's "Test Run" we similarly associate the picture of the two-year-old boy clutching a camera. The artist thoughtfully acting behind the camera, or even appearing on the completed picture, visible in his action — see SZIRÁNYI, with the wire release in his mouth — is a proof and example for those who consider photography a medium, a medium of social activity.
