Abbey Church E

Bélapátfalva Church, one of Hungary's best pieces of Romanesque architecture, was built by the Cistercians as an abbey church around 1250. Next to the buildings are the remains of the monastery.

Open: the church can be visited whole year; but in

winter only after personal discussion.
