The boy was killed on March 13th 1989 while riding his bicycle along the banks of the Szamos by a Románián frontier guard, he was shot dead. The organisers will hold a mass demo- nstration at the same time fór all the Hungarians living in Transylvania who have been shot, run down, tortured, driven to suicide and who have disappeared, a candle will be lit fór every Transylvanian victim. They have asked both the democratic opposition organisations and the Hungárián Socialist Workers Party to take part in the open air funeral service. The Jurta Theatre will have a performance on April 2$th which alsó deals with Transylvania. A Hungárián poet Lóránt Zass who lives in Galifomia will give a reading entitled "Fór the Suffering Transylvanians" in which well known singers and the Landini Group of the National Association fór the Blind will alsó take part. Other Jurta Theatre events include a Militia evening which has provoked great interest and which will take piacé on April 26th at 7 pm. The Mimi eh periodical Militia was established by emigre writers in 1956. Tomorrow on April 22nd at 10 am the Hungárián Holitical Prisoners Alliance will hold a debate entitled "You ask - I answer about 56" in the Jurta Theatre, con- tinuing the series of the same name. The Hungárián Political Prisoners Alliance "Calls upon those who participated in the events and fights in 1956 to help disclose the breadth of the tragedy and to come closer to national reconciliation by being present and máking speeches".
