These matters were proposed by Gyula Bubla and 31 other MPs at the beginning of February. Last week the Ministry of Environment's Barrage Office sent out a 3f page information sheet to MPs listing reasons fór nőt re- opening the discussion, saying that the investment is useful because it allowed tnem to pút 800 millión forints back intő the economy. On March 6th the Danube Gircle will organise its third Danube Day, during which it will continue to collect signatures fór a petition demanding a referendum. This action will be aided by FIDESZ (Young Democrats Alliance), the Hungárián Democratic Fórum and the TDDSZ (Scientific Workers Democratic Union). At noon they will protest in front of the Ministry of the Environment's Fo Street building. They will demand an end to the manipulation of MPs, misinforraation and the withholding of information. At 6 pm there will be a showing of Adám Csillag's documentary "Danubesauras", which was produced by the Béla Balazs Stúdió. Members of the Pcxliamentary Gommittee dealing with the supervision of the dam and of the Ministry's expert body were invited to the showing. The film will be followed by a debate led by Henrik Havas, a rádió reporter.
