About 300 people, the máj őrity of them Transylvanian refugees, assembled in the Saint Cross parish church on the comer of Üllői Street and Ecseri Street at the invitation of the "Transylvanian Christian Youth Conference" group which belongs to the Rákosszentmihály ecumenical refugee congregation. In the invitation the group members asked everyone who believes in the power and ultimate victory of non-violent resistance to take part in a radical 48 hour fást and prayer. According to the invitation the aim of the protest action is to immediately unité r.efugees from Románia in Hungary with their children, parents and living companions who are still in Románia; to prevent the inhuman destruction of seven thousand villages, churches, cemeteries and monuments and to restore individual and collective rights to the Románián nation. A Hungárián Television film crew arrived at the site of the protest fást today, they filmed bút the transmission of the pro grammé was cancelled on orders from above.
