Rranó 97/1987 25th July, 1987 Protest of "Zsolt Keszthelyi Committee" against Imprisonment of a Polish Conscientious Ob.jector A day before yesterday 23 years old Piotr Rózycki was sentenced to two and a half years imprisonment by a Bydgoszcz court on the charge of refusal of military service. Protesting against the sentence, members of Budapest-based "Zsolt Keszthelyi Committee" sent a telegram today to the Polish embassy in Budapest. The telegram reads as follows: Embassy of the Polish People’s Republic, 16 Gorkij fasor, Budapest VI. Your Excellency, Ve protest against the imprisonment of Rózycki. We demand that you respect the U.N. decision and that no Polish conscientious objector be kept in prison.
