Kruisi 40/1987 /E/ 8th April, 1987 Moves in Poland in the interest of Zsolt Keszthelyi On the 29th of March, 1987, the Polish pacifist organization "Freedom and Peace" sent a cable to the Hungárián Embassy in Warsaw with the following wordss "The refusal to do military service is a humán right. We demand the release of Zsolt Keszthelyi". On 3 April it came to demonstrations in Warsaw and Cracow in the interest of the release of Petr Pospichal, arrested on 22 January in Bmo, and that of Zsolt Keszthelyi, arrested on 25 February in Budapest. At the same time, in the vicinity of the Czech and Hungárián cultural centres in Warsaw - on top of the high building opposite the Hotel Fórum activists of the organization "Freedom and Peace" unfűried a flag of 8m length with an insription demanding the release of Keszthelyi and Pospichal. The fate of Zsolt Keszthelyi remains uncertain. His detention has been prolonged with the passing of a month - on 26 March -, the day of his trial hasn’t been set yet and his relatives hadn't been informed, whether it is intended to bring further charges against him. Keszthelyi has been subject to repeated medical examinations in the meantime. He's been allowed to choose a new barrister fór his defence and on 6 April he was able to speak fór the first time since his árrést with one relative and alsó one friend of him.
