8. Increased protection fór the culture and language of the nation, putting and end to the falsification of both the recent and more distant Hungárián pást; the political, morál and matériái rehabilitation of those illegally persecuted and exiled since 19455 the day of March the 15th declared a holiday; the abolition of the state-holiday character of November the 7th; the incorporation in the law of the memory of the 1956 revolution and its martyrs.

9. The effective protection of the Hungárián minorities; the cultural freedom and development of the national minorities and ethnic groups living in Hungary; a new National Minorities Act.

10. The restoration of the autonomy of the churches and religious denominations, the enhancement of their social role, the abolishment of the hidden restrictions on the freedom of religion; guarantees fór the equality of religious denominations before the law.

11. The abolishing of the state-ideology character and favoured position of Marxism-Leninism; the assurance of the autonomy of universities; the restoration of the independence of the Hungárián Academy of Sciences; the morál, organizational and financáal consolidation of the institutional system of public'education.

12. The revision of unfavourable International economic treaties, coopera- tion with the Kuropean Common Markét; the ceasing of indirect support fór International terrorism; the incorporation in the law of the right to political asylum; limitations to the employment of the Hungárián Army abroad; making the rejection of armed military service on the basis of conscience legally permissible.- 2 IV
