Act 1973 of the Hungárián Criminal Code, currently in effect, allow fór convicts sentenced fór long prison terms even the right to appeal fór exemption from the disadvantages relating to a criminal pást only with the passing of a very long time; e.g. in the case of a definite term of imprison- ment longer than five years the convict may appeal with the passing of ten years after the sentence has been served out or its enforceability expired, provided rhat he's nőt a recidivist.
