Office of Government Committee for Abandoned Properties of Hajdú County and of Debrecen. Analyses the abandoned properties and the administrative work dealing with personal belongings, landed and house properties, industrial plants, Jewish properties, securities and jewels. Examines the connection with other organizations and men­tions the work of Local Office of Government Committee for Aban­doned Properties of Bihar County. In 14th of September, 1948 the tasks of the of Government Com­mittee for Abandoned Properties were taken over by Department of Ministry of Finance dealing with Liquidation of Abandoned Proper­ties. A great part of its work was amounted by collection of outstand­ing rents and judgement of applications regarding exemptions and redemptions. The paper outlines also the theoretical and practical part of this work and indicates the efficiency of liquidation by data. At last gives a short account of the amount of documents and the possibilities of research of them and informs about the assistance con­nected with the documents.
