About the parliamentary work of the representatives, namely the "delegates" our sources remained from the reform period. Then the author introduces the representation of Debrecen at the civil parliaments. In the discussion the references to Debrecen on the parliaments of 1848-49 are specially stressed. After the fall of the constitutional attempt of 1861 and after the compromise of 1867 envolves the regular activity of representation of the parliamentary delegates of the town first of all in the period of elections. The paper includes the time of election and lists the names of the delegates elected. 52
