Püspökladány járás területén a következők alakultak: Püspökladányi Általános Népszövetkezet, a Nádudvari Termelő Szövetkezet, a földesi Népszövetkezet, a kábái Népszövetkezet és alakulóban volt augusztus végén a Hajdúszováti szövetkezet is.40 * * :1c Hajdú megye felszabadulás utáni történetének komplex feldolgozása még várat magára. A politikai életről adott képet a jövőben érdemes lenne kibővíteni a koalíciós és ellenzéki pártokról készített tanulmányokkal. A közigazgatási-gazdasági tevékenység fentiekben történt bemutatása alapot kínál a továbblépéshez. Indokolt a sZociális-egészségügyi-kulturális élet feltárása is. Ügy gondolom, hogy a helytörténetírás szempontjából megyénk jól elkülöníthető egységeiből Hajdú megye volt a legmostohábban kezelt az elég nagyszámú város-község monográfia ellenére is, mivel azok a megye sajátos karakterét csak részben tudták és kívánták megragadni. Chapters from theHistory of Hajdú Coutry after the Liberation (November 1944-November 1945) by István Gazdag After the dirving out of the fascist troops the regeneration of life in Hajdú County was made possible not only by the people’s will to live but also by the measures of the Soviet Army and the communists’ activity. The military headquarters called upon Gábor Herpay to act as the administrative leader of our county. With his appeals and personal visits he promoted the recovery of the townships. During the war Hajdú County suffered not only from casualties but also from material demage, and this fact made it difficult for the economiy to be restored. The administrative apparatus having organized the most diverse aspects of everyday activity was slowly approaching the pre-war staff number and the level of their expertise. Pains were taken to substitute the escaped government employees by calling in pensioners and by a redirection of labour. On January 4, 1945 István Öry was appointed High Sheriff by the Provisory National Government. The organization of public security was an important condition of life and labour. The forming of the police was begun at an early date but the establishment of the county police headquarters was realized only on April 5, 1945. After an analysis of the actual situation in agriculture, industry and trade, the work was started and organized by the local authorities without any central guidance. An overall study of our county has still to be made, and the histories of its towns and townships written so far have contributed to the elaboration of the history of Hajdú County which is not yet complete.
