Description: 6.0 - 8.4 cm long, 0.9 - 3.0 cm wide leaves. Shape obovate, apex and base acute, margin entire. Venation camptodromous, suprabasal. Midvein and basal veins are strong, they are connected with each other in a loop-like way. Dense tertiary venation forms a network between the secondaries. Discussion: This form of Daphnogene leaves is very characteristic for the Egerian in Hungary. It appears in every locality in considerable amount. It is also widespread in Europe, especially in the Upper Oligocène sediments. cf.
