Description - External characters'. Medium-sized shell, subtriangular in outline. The sides of triangle are slightly convex, the base is somewhat more convex. The angle between the lateral margins is about 80°. The length and the width are nearly equal while the thickness is slightly greater than half of the length. Biconvex form, the pedicle valve is quite convex, the brachial valve is almost flat. The maximum width is situated at the anterior third, the maximum convexity is at half of the length. The beak is small and erect. There are two weak beak ridges on the brachial valve, running to 1/6 of the length. The lateral margins are straight. There is a strong capillation on the surface of valves. Internal characters: The internal character remains unknown as only one specimen of this species was found, so there was no possibility for serial sectioning. Remarks: The distorted anterior margin renders a more precise identification impossible. This form was separated from the other identified terebratulids by its significantly less capillated shell surface. Text-fig. 42 - Drawing of Terebratulida sp. Order STROPHOMENIDA ÖPIK, 1934 Supeifamily KONINCKINACEA DAVIDSON, 1853 Family KONINCKINIDAE DAVIDSON, 1853 Genus Koninckina SuESS IN DAVIDSON, 1853 Koninc/dna sp. (Pl. VI, Fig. 6; Text-fig. 43) Material: 2 complete and 2 incomplete specimens. Dimensions (mm): Specimen M.91.404. (Text-fig. 43) length: 8.3, width: 7.8, thickness: 3.0. Description - External characters: Small shell, circular in outline. The length is greater than the width while the thickness is smaller than half of the length. The angle between the lateral margins is about 95°. Biconvex form, although the brachial valve is almost flat. The pedicle valve is strongly convex. The maximum width and the maximum convexity is situated at half of the length. The beak Text-fig. 43 - Drawing of relatively large and suberect. The interarea is triKoninckina sp. angular in outline and its surface is concave. The delthyrium is narrow. The commissures are straight. Both valves are finely cos täte by 18 to 20 costae running straight to the anterior end. The costae sometimes bifurcate.
