M 2 - Shorter than Mg but otherwise quite similar to it. M 3 - Between the two anterior cones there is an island. There is a transverse occlusional valley in the middle of the tooth. Kowalskia magna - JÁNOSSY, p. 34. Material : 1 piece M^ from Osztramos 1/E locality, together with Kowalskia polonica and Cricetulus sp. II. Description: Mj - The anteroconid is large and seemingly undivided. The two anterolophulids are far from each other and do not meet. The mesolophulid is long. The ectomesolophid is underdeveloped but long. No island exists among the cones. The closing cingulum is well developed and is connected to the mesoconid. Measurement: M. 2. 6 x 1.6 mm The four cricetid taxa (Kowalskia intermedia FEJFAR, Cricetus sp., Allocricetus cf. bursae SCHAUB, Baranomys sp. ) were found together at the Ivanovce (= Ivánháza) A-B localities in Slovakia. Their detailed description and measurements are given together with the figures by FEJFAR (1970). Material : Only M-^ from the Sümeg locality, together with Neocricetodon fahlbuschi (BACHMAYER and WILSON). Description: M^ - The anteroconid is damaged but probably undivided. There is one anterolophulid and there is no mesolophid. The cingulum is underdeveloped. The ridges running down from the cones are arched. Measurement: M. 1.8x1.2 mm Material: Only one M^ from the Osztramos 1/E locality with Kowalskia polonica and KowalKowalskia intermedia FEJFAR, 1970 Cricetulus MILNE-EDWARDS, 1867 Cricetulus sp. I.
