DUNKL, S. JÓZ SA and K. SCHLEMMER. The remains were found in a newly opened fissure. Together with the discoverers the author collected some 0. 6 m 3 bone-bearing sediment in 1984-1985. The material is deposited in the Hungarian Geological Institute. The location, that has proved to be the richest in the region so far, was given the name Polgárdi 4 (Loc. 1 the first sporadic find; Loc. 2 the cave sediments, found by KORMOS in 1910 and published in 1911; Loc. 3 cemented bone-breccia explored and collected by G. SCHOLTZ and S. MIHÁLY in 1974 (MIHÁLY 1975) ).
