M - The anterior cingula are well developed both at the labial and lingual side. At the axis the short crests running down from the proto- and metaconid join the anterior cingula. The labial anterolophid along the outer margin, as a cingulum, reaches the protoconid (74%). Between the labial cones well developed cingulum is present (81%), and in 14% of the cases ectostylid can be also found. The mesolophid is always long and reaches the margin, where in 79% of the cases it ends in cusps. Between the proto- and hypoconid an ectomesolophid, starting from the hypoconid into the sinus, could be found in 7% of the cases, as it was in case of Mj. Fig. 8 Lower molars of Karstocricetus skofleki gen.n., sp. n. from Tardosbánya 1 = Mj, la= undivided anteroconid, lb = divided anteroconid with two anterolophulids, lc = divided anteroconid with three anterolophulids, ld= ectomesolophid on the labial side of the Mj, 2= M 2 , 2a = ectomesolophid on the labial side of the M 2 , 3= M g , 3a = Mg with medium length mesolophid Mg - The anterior structure is the same as that of the M 2 . The mesolophid is not always long and reaches the lingual cingulum only in 43% of the cases. In 87% of the cases the entoconid and posterolophid meet on the lingual margin, where it constitutes a cingulum, and produces an inward island.
