As a result, disregarding the ambiguous comparison with the finds originating from greater distances, the author describes the succession of the local Cricetidae. The hamster like rodents (Cricetidae) were a permanent and characteristic group in the Carpathian Basin during the Late Neogene (Lower Pannonian, Pontian, and Pliocene).
