Description A big tooth in fragmental condition. At its oral end the first lamella had broken off and the labial part of the 2 na and 3^ lamellae as well as the anterior enamelwall of the 4th lamella are missing. On the aboralliguai wall of the talon we can find the fragments of bone forming the posterior perpendicular wall of the oral cavity (Plate I. ) The crown is long, broad and high. The cement layer covering the crown is thin. At the lingual side of the crown above the grinding surface there are 4 fossae running parallel with the lower. The root of tooth is closed. The physiological height of the tooth is 185 mm. The grinding surface has a wide, oval shape. It is round and at its aboral part the labial side while at its oral part the lingual side is more worn. The enamel annulets at the apical ends of lamellae 11-10-9 and 8 are isolated. The concretional type of the lamellae: lateral annular - medial lamellar. The shape of the lamellae is wide, elliptical with a slight oval widening at their centre. On the posterior walls of the lamellae a slight loxodont sinus was formed. The outer side of the posterior wall of the ridge-plates, is more folded than that of the anterior side. The horizontal section of the lamellae is angled at their base and rounded at their medial part. The thickness of the enamel wall of the lamellae is decreasing towards the base. There are 3 bone fragments at the aboral-lingual wall of. the talon. The talon of the tooth is surrounded by the alveolar process of the thick-walled maxilla (processus alveolaris maxillae). At the lingual side a part of the perpendicular plate (os palatinum pars perpendicularis) ossified to the palate (os palatinum) was remained. The palatal process of the maxilla (processus palatinus maxillae) extends aborally to the 14 tn lamella os the tooth. The fragment of the pterygoid bone (os pterygoideum) ossified to the perpendicular plate of the palate (os palatinum) and to the aboral wall of the tuber maxillae is remained, too. 16 260 s 92 145 6 12 3 175 11 6, 15 16,25 2, 80 1, 57
