, composed of 2 whorls. The last whorl is composed of 5 ^ subglobular, slightly inflated chambers, increasing gradually in size as added. Equatorial periphery lobate, axial periphery rounded. Wall calcareous, finely perforate, surface pitted. Sutures depressed, slightly curved on the dorsal side, radial and straight on the ventral side. Umbilicus small, shallow. . Diameter: 0,28 mm Occurrence : Some specimens of this species are found in sample no. 9, in the Taramsa section. Stratigraphie range: HORNIBROOK (1958) described G. pseudoiota from the Waipawan stage. Paleocene, of New Zealand.
