BERGGREN (i960) described and figured this species from the lo­wer Eocene of northwestern Germany. This species was also recorded by OLSSON(l960) from the Horner­stown formation in New Jersey. In Egypt, this species was recorded by SAID & SABRY (1964) from the G. pusilla pusilla zone of Gebel Aweina, Nile Valley. EL NAGGAR (1966) described this species from the lower, middle and upper Paleocene of Esna Idfu region, Nile Valley. Globorotalia pseudobulloides (PLUMMER) (pl. I. fig. 6; pl.
