Occurrence : In the Taramsa section, a large number of this species are found together with G. pusilla pusilla in sample no. 7 characterizing the G. angulata / G. pusilla pusilla zone. Moreover, G. angulata ranges through the G. pseudomenardii zone. Stratigraphie range; G. angulata (WHITE) was first described by WHITE (1928) from the Velasco formation in Mexico. All reliable references from all studied sections all over the world, show clearly that G. angulata is neither Danian, nor lower Eocene, and is restricted only In the middle and upper Paleocene .
