Globigerina incisa HILLEBRANDT (pl. IV, fig. 5, pl. VIII, fig. 7.) 1962 Globigerina incisa HILLEBRANDT. - HILLEBRANDT p. 122, pl. 11. figs. 5a-c, 6-11. Description : Test large, trochospiral , spiral side flat, umbi­lical side inflated. Equatorial periphery tripartite, distinct­ly lobate, axial periphery rounded. Chambers about 7, arranged in 2 whorls, the last whorl composed of 3 globular and strongly inflated chambers, increasing rapidly in size. Wall calcareous coarsely perforate, surface pitted. Sutures strongly incised, slightly curved. Umbilicus triangular, narrow, open. Aperture interiomarginal , umbilical, covered by a prominent lip. Diameter: 0,48 mm Occurrence : Some specimens of this species are found in sample no. 7, Taramsa section. Stratigraphie range: G. incisa was figured and described by HILLEBRANDT (1962) from the lower Landenian to the upper Lande­nian (Zone E, P) in the basin of Reichenhall and Salzburg (Aus­tria ).
