Trochospire high. Chambers Inflated, spherical. Sutures strongly depressed, right, radial. Umbilicus small, deep. Aperture situated on the last chamber, which is smaller than the previous one. It is an intraumbilical, high arch, with a scarcely discernible rim-like thickening. Note. Differs from the holotype in being more loosely colled, from Globigerina ouachitaensis by its lower trochospire, and by the aperture of the penultimate chamber being not visible in the umbilicus, and from G. praebulloides in the disposition of the chambers, by its narrower umbilicus and by the not visible former aperture. Occurrence. Common in all horizons of the Buda Marl, but particularly so in the Oligocène part. Also present in the Kiscell Clay.
