If the condition-datum of the specimen is missing, the piece is in a good condition. Symbols, used for the marking of the condition: + = oiled or varnished ++ = oiled, but small dots of rust are newly appearing +++ = smoke, tar spots or coat in consequence of the fire x = not conserved, rusting XX = not conserved, with a thicker rust-crust +++X = burned and rusting February, 1969.
