There are five green and four white stripes on our shield as the symbol of Ferencváros — this is the IX. district of Hungarian capital Budapest.

The three capital E-s in the shield refers to our slogan: Erkölcs, Erő, Egyetértés= =Morals, Strength, Concord.

member of Hungarian First Division wich figured in all years in the forefront! The 22 championships of Ferencváros is record in Hungary: 1903, 1905, 1906-7, 1908-9, 1909-10, 1910-11, 1911-12, 1912-13, 1925-26, 1926- 27, 1927-28, 1931-32, 1933-34,

1937-38, 1939-40, 1940-41, 1948- 49, 1962-63, 1964, 1967, 1968,

1975-76.

— Ferencváros (nickname: Fradi) is

the record holder with its 14 Hungarian Cup winnings too: 1912—13, 1921—22, 1926-27, 1927-28, 1932-33, 1934- 35, 1941-42, 1942-43, 1943-44,

1956-58, 1971-72, 1973-74, 1975- 76, 1977-78.

— Till 31st December, 1980. Ferencváros gave 109 players into the Hungarian national team. This is - of course - a record too in our country.

— These are our home honours, and so no wonder that Ferencváros is the most popular soccer team in Hungary. The fans always go with the team to away matches in Hungary and often to foreign countries too. The number of our official supporters is about 5000. The average number of the spectators is between 15.000—20.000 in our home matches at Üllői út Stadium.

The Ferencvárosi Torna Club founded on 3rd May, 1899, so in 1979 we

celebrated our 80 years jubilee. In these eight decades the green and white dressed footballers of Ferencváros obtained an illustrious place in the home and international football life.

In the last 20 years we produced some excellent and remarkable results in the three great European Cups (EC, ECWC, UEFA Cup)
