II. KÖZLEMÉNYEK - T. Orgona Angelika: „Az ország szíve". Klauzál Gábor (1804-1866) személyéhez köthető emléktárgyak a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeumban

A kiállítás először mutatta be együtt a múzeum Klauzál-relikviáit, amelyek között Barabás Miklós Klauzál Gábort ábrázoló festménye és az államférfi díszszablyája önmagukban is kiemelkedő értéket képviselnek. Ezúton is szeretném köszönetemet kifejezni mindazoknak, akik részt vettek a kiállítás megvalósításában: a Barabás- festményt Gulyás Csilla restaurálta; a műtárgyak válogatásában Torbágyi Melinda, Cs. Lengyel Beatrix, Ridovics Anna, Kollár Csilla, Kovács S. Tibor, Baják László, Gödölle Mátyás, Debreczeni-Droppán Béla voltak segítségemre. A fényképeket Kardos Judit készítette. A kiállítást Bak Andrea, Marosfalvi Ákos és Miklovics Gyula építette fel. "THE HEART OF THE LAND". GÁBOR KLAUZÁL'S (1804-1866) RELICS IN THE HUNGARIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM Summary In the days of the Hungarian reform age, first half of the 19th century, in Hungarian public opinion the politician Ferenc Deák was "the Mind of the Land", while Gábor Klauzál was the heart of it. Klauzál was a deputy of Csongrád County at the diets of reform age. As a member of Liberal Party, he battled passionately against the absolutistic Austrian government, against the conservatives, for renewal of Hungary. He speaked on the Hungarian diets for abolition of the feudal duties, censorship, for liberty of speech, press, commerce, for a civilian Hungary. He played a very important role in the Hungarian revolution and he was the minister of cultivation, industry and commerce in the first Hungarian government in 1848. As a minister he liberalized the industry and made other reforms in his fields. He resigned on 11th of September, when the revolution turned into a war of independence, then retired. He charged to politics in the 1860's years, but he couldn't live to 1867, when Hungary reconciliated with Austria. The Hungarian National Museum commemorated for the 150th anniversary of his death in 2016 with a ceremonial seat and an exhibition. The latter showed his portraits and relics from the museum's collections. On the exhibition, there was a litography, made by Franz Eybl Austrian painter, a beautiful painting from the great Hungarian artist, Miklós Barabás, and some photos from Antal Simonyi, the early Hungarian photographer. One of his most interesting objects is his saber with his family crest, crest of Csongrád County and Hungary. The Hungarian National Museum also keeps Kaluzál's ministerial seals. Worthy of note the fine meershaum pipe with the portraits of the members of the first Hungarian government. It was made by Roth and Weisz after the reconciliation in 1867. 119
