I. KÖSZÖNTJÜK A 80 ÉVES T. NÉMETH ANNAMÁRIÁT - Ridovics Anna: III. Károly pozsonyi koronázási érmei nyomán készített delfti fajansz tányérok

Barcelonában, esetleg Utrechtben rendezett bankett pohárszékét díszítette (portrés tányérpár, kék-fehér tálak) vagy esetleg a díszasztal desszertkészleténél kaptak helyet (kék-fehér díszítésű tányérok) a nyilvános lakomán vagy a nem hivatalos magánétkezés idején. Számos kérdésre tehát még nem ismerjük a választ. Az azonban bizonyos, hogy a tálsorozat (eddig kilenc tál ismert79 Nümbergből, Budapestről, Pozsonyból, New Yorkból és Madridból) VI. (III.) Károly császár és király politikai törekvéseit, hatalmi reprezentációját a kor magas iparművészi színvonalán képviselő különleges darabokból áll, amelyek egyúttal az uralkodó 1712. májusi pozsonyi királykoronázásának, tehát a Magyar Királyság legfőbb reprezentációs eseményének is különleges emléket állítottak. A nürnbergi, Imari színpalettát idéző, Delft doré tányérpár történeti értéke mellett a delfti „De Grieksche A" műhelyének unikális példánya.

Hungarica fayance dishes in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum

This paper introduces until now unpublished, unknown Hungarica from the Ceramic Collection of the Germanisches Nationalmuseum. The pair of two dishes (inv. n. LG A 3.895., LGA 3.896.) were purchased from an artdealer at Munich in 1876. The production's time and place, workshop was not indentified on the inventory papers. One of the dish is decorated by the side-face portrait of Charles VI (1685-1740) Holy Roman Emperor, king of Spain, Hungary and Bohemia. Circumscription around the tondo: CAROLUS- VI- D-(ei) G-(ratia) ROM-(anorum) IMP-(erator) S-(emper) A-(ugustus) GERM-(aniae) HlSP-(aniae) HUNG-(ariae) BOH-(emiae) REX- VI. The young emperor is expressed as a glorious general wearing armour. The orden of the Golden Fliece hangs in his neck. His curly hair is crowned by laurel wreath of the conquerors. The drawing of the face has delicate touch. There are seen three letters G. W. V. at the shoulder hem under the armour. The crowns of the sovereign are depicted on the other dish. Above all the others shines the Holy Roman imperial crown, the two closed crown (of Spain, Bohemia) take side places. The Hungarian Holy Crown is situated at the main place in the center, above the coat of arms of Hungary. The circumscription: TVTA EST TOT IVNCTA CORONIS (It is saved close to the other crowns.) The edge of the two dishes are decorated with lambrequin motiv. The colours recall the splendid palette of the Japanese Imari porcelains: blue-red-gold and some turquoise on white. On the back of the dish (LGA 3.895) APK sign can be seen. According to the Dutsch literature APK is
