E-mail: keresztlapu@emk.nyme.hu Abstract - First occurrence of Impatientinum (Impatientinum) asiaticum NEVSKY, 1929 collected from Impatiens parviflora DC. (Bals aminaceae) in Hungary is reported. Key words - Impatientinum asiaticum, Impatiens parviflora, Aphididae, alien plant, Hungary. INTRODUCTION Between 1990 and 2003, the senior author made an aphid survey on ornamental trees and shrubs in Hungary (RIPKA et al. 1993, 1998, RIPKA 2001, 2004). Some of these woody taxa are known as invasive alien species, e.g. Acer negundo, Ailanthus altissima, Amorpba fruticosa, Celtis occidentalism Elaeagnus angustifolia, Robinia pseudoacacia. REMAUDIÈRE & RIPKA (2003), also RIPKA (2005) reported aphid species of invasive trees and shrubs. Recently, CSISZÁR & BARTHA (2006) reported aphid infestation on the small balsam (Impatiensparviflora DC.) (Balsaminaceae) in the Sopron region. I. parviflora of Central Asian origin occurs in almost all European countries. Its first occurrence in Hungary was reported in 1890, when it started to spread in riversides and floodplain forests, its distribution expanded later to mesic forests in a low mountain region in North Hungary
