terminalia of the specimen is shown in Fig. 3. Two males of S. flavomaculata (VANDER LINDEN, 1825) collected in "S. Albania, Cuca, N end lake Butrinto" on 15 July 1933 by N. LINDSAY are present in the Natural History Museum, London (V.J. KALKMAN, personal communication). This species has previously been unknown from Albania and this is the very first record to be published for this country. Sympetrum SuLZER, 1776 spp. larvae - I cannot identify without doubt the non full-grown Sympetrum larvae from lowland waters. Some of them might belong to Selysiothemis nigra (VANDER LINDEN, 1825), which would be a new addition to the fauna of Albania. Acknowledgements — I am very grateful to VINCENT J.
