I name the new species to the honour of Dr KlRILL BORISOVICH GORODKOV, for his particularly successful work on the species of the Heleomyzidae. Figs 1-5. Schroederella kirilli sp. n., holotype, male genitalia: 1 = epandrium, cercus, subepandrial process and surstylus, lateral view, 2 = subepandrial process in broadest extension (a subventralsubanterior view), 3 = paramere, broadest (almost completely lateral) view, 4 — dorso-caudal process of surstylus, ventral (i.e. not the broadest) view, 5 = ejaculatory apodeme, broadest (subdorsal) view.
