OECOPHORIDAE Batia lunaris (HAWORTH, 1828) - The Hungarian records refer to B. internella JÄCHK, 1972 (TOKÁR et al. 2005). Denisia liictuosella (DUFONCHEL, 1840) - According to TOKÁR et al. (2005) the specimens were misidentified, and in fact they represent D. augustella (HÜBNER, 1796). PYRALIDAE Elegia atrifasciella (RAGONOT, 1825) - Junior subjective synonym of Elégia fal lax (STAU­DINGER, 1881). Serrulacera gregella (EVERSMANN, 1844) - Junior subjective synonym of Insalebria serrati­cornella (ZELLER, 1839) (LERAUT 2003). SESIIDAE Chamaesphecia aerifrons (ZELLER, 1847) - According to LASTÜVKA (1990) all examined specimens proved to belong to Ch. nigrifrons LE CERF, 1911. Tinthia lineiformis (ESPER, 1783) - The specimens of the HNHM collection proved to belong to T. brosifonnis (HÜBNER, 1813) (identified by ZDENEK LASTÜVKA). TORTRICIDAE Cochylimorpha jaculana (SNELLEN, 1883) - Sec Cochylimorpha halophilana (CHRISTOPH, 1872) in the part "Species added to the checklist. ..". Cydia zebeana (RATZEBURG, 1840) - See Cydia millenniana (ADAMCZEWSKI, 1967) in the part "Species added to the checklist...". Epinotia fraternana (HAWORTH, 1811) - It was based on misidentification as indicated in the the "Species erroneously listed in former literature" chapter in SZABÓKY et al. (2002: 108). However it was not deleted from the main body of the list. Pleurota brevispinella (ZELLER, 1847) - See Pleurota malatya BACK, 1973 in the part "Spe­cies added to the checklist...". OTHER COMMENTS ACROLEPIIDAE Acrolepia tauricella (STAUDINGER, 1870) - The species belongs to the genus Acrolepiopsis GAEDIKE, 1970.
